Abuse in marriage: The Sad Reality It’s no longer hidden when it’s staring us in the face, especially in a 21st-century marriage. The tragic death of gospel musician Osinachi has sparked outrage in today’s society. Mrs. Osinachi attends Dunamis International Gospel Center, where the lead pastors are  Dr. Pastor Paul, and his wife, Mrs. Becky Enenche.

Do you know that Osinachi, the Gospel Enigma, was a loud voice in the spiritual realm? Many people have been affected by it, but it has now been silenced by the cold hands of death as a result of domestic violence and abuse.

Mr. Nwachukwu, her estranged husband, had beaten and battered her multiple times, causing her to have chronic chest pains.

Mrs. Osinachi’s first son and her twin sister have both corroborated this. We must not be too quick to judge or blame to see the bright side of things.

Some lessons can be learned as we continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding her demise.

These Lessons are primarily for females.

What Every Woman Must Learn From Osinachi’s Death

LESSON 1. Never Marry A Man Who Feels Threatened By Your Progress And Success

Dear Ladies, No Matter what you feel for a guy once you notice and observe signs of envy and hatred whenever you have things going well for you, Please Run Away because it will end up being a toxic relationship.  Note That Kind of a man will seek to control, contain, monopolize, hoard, and steal your resources. You Don’t want to be in a relationship where You are being monitored and not given the necessary wings to fly as a woman and become what God destined You to be.

LESSON 2. Refuse To Marry Under Family Influence, Pressure, or Sentiments.

Marriage is not just a day’s journey but a Journey of many years. Every Lady must be careful so as not to fall into the hands of a wicked man because of what her family thinks. Many Families try to reward their untrained and poorly mannered children with someone’s daughter. This is unacceptable and must be avoided. You must be able to Determine and make choices on whom you desire to marry. You end up being the one to suffer the consequences, not his family members or yours.

LESSON 3. Don’t Cover Him Up When He is Messing Up.

Some women tend to cover up for their husbands or fiancées when they beat them or maltreat them. This is an absurd attitude from most women. You must be wise enough to report him to his parents, pastor, or family members. This is not approving that you should talk to every dick and harry but rather admonishing that you don’t conceal things that could hurt you in marriage.

LESSON 4. You Are Not God, You Can’t Change Any Man.

Dear Women, Please delete the ideology and mentality that you can change a man. The only being capable of changing a man in totality is the Almighty God. He is the creator of the man, therefore he alone can fix him. The key sign to look out for when a man is desperate for change is the fact that he keeps making conscious efforts to change. Do not assume you can change him. Women who make such assumptions have most times regretted it.

LESSON 5. Don’t Marry A Man Who Doesn’t Submit To Higher Authority

Every Man has an in-built ego. I call it a factory-fitted Ego Deposit. It is purely natural and cannot be denied. But in that reality, You should marry a man who can listen to and respect Elders.

A man who will treat his wife well must be able to submit to higher authorities such as genuine pastors, Elders, and parents.

You must pick the signal to flee when no one can talk to him. If you are in that kind of relationship headed for marriage, please cut it off immediately because you will be doing yourself and your unborn children a great deal of good.

LESSON 6. Don’t Be Distant From Your Pastor

This is crucial because you should be open to your pastor if he loves and cares for you. They are capable of doing a lot to save your life in life-threatening situations. We noticed that Osinachi did not speak to Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche about her problems.

Shepherds are the title given to pastors. They’ve been placed in your life to offer advice and guidance when it’s needed. Don’t underestimate the abilities that God has bestowed upon them.

LESSON 7. Your  Life Is More Important Than Marriage

As much as you want to make that marriage work,  Keep in mind that your life matters more than your marriage. Keep in mind that God created Adam before he married. In conclusion, life takes precedence over marriage. Only the living can marry.

That is to say, whenever your life and survival are in jeopardy in your marriage, put your life first. Jesus came to give his life for you, not for your marriage.

LESSON 8.Ensure To Be Divinely Guided By God On Choice Of Life Partner

Marriage is a very beautiful but sensitive adventure. Many People Are in regret today because they didn’t watch and pray, seeking signals from God. The choice of who to marry is the most important after salvation therefore, it must be carefully taken. God cannot lead you to harm. Sometimes when God leads satan may try to tamper with it But God always wins in the end. Please trust God For direction on who to marry. Divine Direction is important because who you marry determines How far you go, How well you go, How You Live and how much of your destiny you fulfill.

LESSON 9. Choose Your Friends Wisely

Your friends can either make or mar you. Osinachi’s friends Didn’t help her enough. They tried but they would have pushed more by making moves to alert the relevant people about what she was going through in marriage. The Best thing you can get yourself is a good friend who cannot watch you languish in pain and keep quiet.

LESSON 10.Never Overlook Red flags During Courtship

Courtship is a time where you need to observe and get to know the man individually. If You Notice anything suspicious in terms of abuse(verbal and physical). Do well to Take a bow
