TOPIC: PATHWAY TO RESTORE YOUR HEALTH
SCRIPTURE: Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:14-16.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Coming into prayer of agreement with someone is a pathway to healing.
SEED OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
In the journey of life, I have discovered that confrontations can come without invitation or even provocation. Some confrontations could be in the form of attacks on health.
Someone can slip into ill-health because of a satanic confrontation or an attack on the body. All these are attacks on one’s faith.
People can also slip into ill-health by carelessness. Sin can be a major cause of ill-health.

Now, how do you regain your health if you fall sick? The following are some avenues and provisions for recovery of health.
i. Confession and forgiveness of sins (James 5:16).
This is a situation where you go before God confessing your sins and obtaining forgiveness. You present yourself before God and say, “O Lord, in case, there is something that I am doing that is not right; something that may have brought this sickness upon me, or any way in my life the door to affliction was opened through sin; I ask for your mercy and forgiveness.”
ii. Prayer of faith (James 5:15).
This is when someone, probably higher in faith than you, or even someone at the same level of faith with you, comes into the agreement of faith with you and prays with you, so you could get out of any attack on your health.
You know, it is a proof of pride when people say, “Nobody can pray with me”. It is important for someone to join faith with you in prayers if that is necessary.
What is my counsel? Present yourself before God and ask for mercy in case the cause of your illness is sin. Coming into prayer of agreement with someone to obtain wholeness is a pathway to healing.
Remember this: Coming into prayer of agreement with someone to obtain wholeness is a pathway to healing as well.
ASSIGNMENTS:
- Go to God in prayer whenever you are challenged health-wise.
- Endeavour to present yourself before God and ask for mercy and forgiveness when necessary.
- Come into agreement prayer with someone for the restoration of your health if you are challenged health-wise, if that is necessary.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for opening my eyes to see the pathways to health. I ask for mercy and forgiveness to live permanently in health. I obtain grace to engage in prayer of agreement, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
