The abiding, indwelling and empowering presence of God in a life makes all the difference that anyone can desire. The Bible reveals one of the names of Jesus Christ as Emmanuel, which means God with us! Jesus had to be with mankind to deal decisively with the problem of sin and save us from it.
Also, on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended and began to indwell believers. This also proves that God is with us. As believers, we are carriers of God’s presence, power, grace and glory. When God is with you and for you, you will triumph in the battles of life and over your enemies. The challenges of life, no matter the guise they take, will not overwhelm you. Beloved, the weapons the enemy hurls at you will not prosper if God is with you and for you.
