I confess today I am content and satisfied. God supplies all of my needs so I have no cause to engage in tiring pursuit and lust for mundane things like the world does. Everything I need is supplied and everything I’ll need is already being prepared in Jesus’ name, Amen. Hallelujah!

Open Heaven 25 November 2022 MESSAGE:

Covetousness is when you are so eagerly desirous of wealth or material possessions that you are willing to do anything, even committing sin, to get it.

In Colossians 3:5 , the Bible calls covetousness idolatry: “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:”

In other words, the covetous fellow is not a child of God, but an idol worshipper. There are many people in the Bible who covetousness ruined. Lot, for example, was aman who was picked up by Abraham. He became rich because of his association with Abraham.

When his wealth grew and there was contention between his servants and those of Abraham, the issue revealed what had always been within Lot: a covetous heart. “And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.” Genesis 13:10

Ordinarily, when Abraham asked Lot to choose first which side he wanted to go to, he should have said, No, Uncle. You are the one who brought me along with you. And You are the one who has been taking care of me all this while. Also, You choose which side you want and I will go to the other side.

At the end of the day, his covetousness brought him trouble because he lost all that he took to and even gained at Sodom. He lost his wife too.

Covetousness is so terrible that it can destroy a man completely. Check yourself to know whether you are having some inordinate ambition to be rich. Kill that ambition now and look to God, trusting Him to make you rich in His own way. Only the blessings of God will make you rich without adding sorrow to your life (Proverbs 10:22).

OPEN HEAVEN PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY 25 NOVEMBER 2022

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your provisions and all the awesome opportunities You bring my way each day. Thank You for making your way in the dark and for lighting up the way forward. Give me the grace to say thank You more often in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

My father, I come before You today, asking for forgiveness of sin. Please wash me clean and show me mercy in Jesus name.

Father, let the sins of fornication, idolatry, adultery, abuse, stealing, covetousness, drunkenness, and the likes be far from me in Jesus name

Oh Lord, check my heart, prune it, and remove every atom of covetousness in it in Jesus name.

Father, everything fueling an inordinate ambition to be rich in me, making me want to go any length and do anything, take it away in Jesus name.

Father, work on me from within and let me be content. Do not let me covet after material things that will make me err from the faith and be pierced with many sorrows in the name of Jesus.

Lord, help me to flee from greed and covetousness. May I daily follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and meekness in Jesus name.

Oh Lord, grant me true contentment. Let me be satisfied and not covetous of people’s possessions in Jesus name.

OPEN HEAVEN PRAYER GUIDE

Oh Lord, may my only panting and desire be to see Your Kingdom in the name of Jesus.

Father, help me to look at what I have and be grateful. May I not be an ungrateful and greedy person in Jesus name.

Oh Lord, help me to amass wealth where it is necessary – in heaven and not just wealth on earth that will be consumed in Jesus name.

Lord, may I not lose eternal treasures because of my focus on material things. Help me to be content with what I have in Jesus name.

Oh Lord, as I abide in You, help me to bear fruits and let my fruits last in Jesus name.

Thank You for the benefactors and beneficiaries of Your great work on this platform (RCCGONLINE.ORG). Father I ask that fresh fire fall upon them, that they will be set ablaze for You.

Oh Lord, bless your son Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye for all his years of continual service, remember him, guide him on the path, help him remain focused, bless his entire household, and fulfill all Your promises for their liberation, ministry and family, in Jesus’ name.

OPEN HEAVEN PRAYER FINAL SESSION

Thank You Father for the intercessory team and the online platform (RCCGONLINE.ORG) and that which You have put in their hearts, I pray that You make them as flaming swords to bring men to Your kingdom and shut down the works of darkness in the name of Jesus.

Father, bless everyone dedicating their time to pray through these prayers & declarations at the point of their needs. Give them the grace to share/rebroadcast, in Jesus’ name.

Father, please uphold Your children working everyday on this platform (rccgonline.org) to prepare these prayers and declarations with Your right hand of righteousness and all those who have been rebroadcasting them, give them the grace to keep up with this good work of Faith, in the name of Jesus.

By faith, appreciate God for answered prayers. Your testimonies are undeniable in Jesus’ name.

Submit yourself and your personal petitions to God. Cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.
