The Holy Communion is one of the provisions of God for the wholeness and wellness of His people.
The early Church was strong and healthy because it was a Church that permanently fed literally on the Holy Communion (Acts 2:42).
In church, we have received all manner of testimonies, miracles, signs, and wonders as people take the Communion:

A lady whose menstrual cycle had ceased for one year, took the Communion, and immediately she took it, she had not even dropped the Communion cup when she felt the flow. She had to run to the toilet. Thus her menstrual cycle was miraculously restored.

The Communion announces what Christ did for us on the Cross of Calvary.
Every time you take the Communion, you are announcing what happened on Calvary to the devil, sickness, infirmity, etc. (1 Corinthians 11:26). So, when you take the Body of Christ, and drink His Blood, it is an action, but that action is a statement.
Now, if the devil is trying to impose an affliction on your body, by the power of Calvary, that affliction is arrested, in Jesus’ Name.
