SOD TOPIC: SOUL WINNING THROUGH TEACHING THE WORD
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9:16.
For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!
Thought for The Day: Someone must preach to sinners for them to be saved.
SEED OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
It has been established that, as Christians, we are commanded to win souls for the Kingdom; we are saved to save others.
The preaching of the Word of God to sinners is a method of soul winning. Someone must preach to sinners for them to be saved.
Romans 10:13-14 says,
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? ALSO, and how shall they hear without a preacher?
And in 1 Corinthians 9:16, Paul said:

And when you preach the Word of God to sinners, do it the way Philip did it. How did Philip preach the Word?
Acts 8:35 says,
Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
Please, take note of this: …. and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

Philip met the Ethiopian Eunuch reading the Book of Isaiah, then the Holy Spirit told Philip to run to him.
When Philip ran to the Ethiopian Eunuch, he preached to him by beginning from the same Scripture, the Book of Isaiah, that he (the Ethiopian Eunuch) was reading. Where he met the man was where he started from.
Beloved, make up your mind to preach the Word of God always and win sous for God.
REMEMBER THIS: The action of praying in the Spirit stirs the activities of the Holy Spirit.
