SOD TOPIC: PASSION IN THE HEART- A PATHWAY TO VISION

SEED OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
Vision is the revelation of God’s plans for a person’s life. When a person comes to the point of understanding God’s plans for his or her life, that person is at the point of vision.
Knowing how crucial vision is to life and destiny fulfilment, it is imperative for us to know how vision is conceived or discovered.
Today, we are going to look at one of the ways we can arrive at vision, and it is the discovery of the passion of your heart.
The problem you are yearning to solve constitutes a burning passion in your heart. The object of your passion is that thing that makes you uncomfortable if it is not done. Your passion is what will not leave your heart alone until it is done (Acts 7:23).

There are two things I want you to take note of regarding passion.
1. The passion of the heart is clue to the purpose of life.
Whatever is a passion in your heart is connected to the purpose of your life. Hence, passion is a foundation for vision.
2. Passion is the vehicle to your portion in life.
If you drive in the vehicle of passion, you can reach your portion. (Nehemiah 1:3-4).
Now, what is the connection between vision and passion?
a. Passion influences vision and fuels drive.
Whenever something has become your passion, especially God’s given passion, it almost inevitably becomes your vision.

b. Passion fuels pursuit and persistence.
Where a man has passion, he will not lack pursuit there. When you are passionate, you undermine resistance.
c. Passion is contagious; it is infectious.
Passion has the capacity to recruit vision implementers (Habakkuk 2:2). It was a fire that drew Moses’s attention. So, it is the fire that you carry that will draw the attention of people that are relevant to your destiny.

2. Make demands on God for the impartation of His Wisdom and Blessing upon your life.
