Our Lord Jesus Christ is our perfect example in Godly virtues. He is the life we are supposed to live. Our lives should be a reflection of his Life on earth (John14:6). One secret of Jesus Christ was His priority for prayer and the Word of God. Jesus Christ was given to prayer and the Word. Mark 1:35 says, And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. Before the day broke, Jesus went into a solitary place and prayed to God. Also, in Luke 6:12, He prayed all night to God.

Seeds Of Destiny Message For Today
Now, if Jesus Christ, who had no need of anything, could pray all night, how much more you and I? What about His disposition to the Word of God? Luke 4:16-20 showed that He was a man of the Word. It was His custom to read the Scriptures. He had ransacked the Scriptures and when it was time for the fulfilment of what was written in the Book about Him, He opened the Book and read it for everybody to hear. Jesus Christ, who is the Word of God personified, studied the Scriptures.
No wonder, He shot arrows that did not miss targets. Beloved, if our Lord Jesus Christ Who is the Author and Finisher of our faith would pray and study God’s Word as a proof of His dedication to God, it means you can’t be truly dedicated to God without commitment to praying and studying God’s Word. Beloved, I counsel you to follow the footsteps of men with proven dedication to God. Make up your mind to pray and Study God’s Word consistently.
