TOPIC: HEARING GOD’S VOICE THROUGH HIS WORD
Scripture:
Psalms 29:3.
The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.
Thought for The Day: The Word of God is the surest way of hearing God.
SEED OF DESTINY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
It has been established that Divine Direction is critical for maximizing a new season of life. God’s Voice is critical to maximizing new seasons in life.
God is always speaking; the problem is that we do not always hear or understand what God is saying per time.
For example, in the city of Abuja, Nigeria, there are many radio stations like Cool FM, Hot FM, Aso Radio, Ray Power FM, etc. These radio stations are broadcasting all the time, even at the moment but you cannot hear their broadcast because you are not tuned in to their frequencies.
In the same way, God is always saying something but we are not always prepared to hear Him. So, you need to make up your mind to hear God before you make any move this year.
Seeds Of Destiny Devotional
Beloved, the easiest way to hear God is through His Word. The Word is the surest way of hearing God. You can familiarize yourself with the Voice of God through the Word of God. When you hear His Voice from the Word, you can recognize it outside the Word.
This is because who you would marry, or where you would work is not expressly written in the Word of God, but when you hear His Voice from His Word, you can recognise it outside the Word.
Inside the verse, there is a Voice and when you are familiar with the Voice in the verse, you can hear the Voice outside the verse wherever you are – in the bus, market place, kitchen, etc.
Remember this: The Word is the surest way of hearing God.
