This is popular question asked by most people. In places like Africa, A Lot of evangelism is being done mostly every Saturday. This is basically to invite people to their Church for special thanksgiving or other major conferences and Events.
What happens most times is that there is a point during the service, where the church receives those worshipping there for the first time.
An Altar Call is being made by the pastor or welcoming minister, And those who came to worship for the first time will be expected to stand up to be appropriately welcome and given a package.

We strongly recommend that if its our first time in Any church, Once a call to recognize first timers is made, you should actually stand up to identify as a first timer. This is because if you don’t it may seem as though you are lying or deceiving yourself .
No Matter how the situation is, simply stand up to just show your self that you are new. But ensure you tell them the purpose for which you came.
This is to forestall possible follow up or calls that you don’t want from the follow up department of the church in particular.
Also, I reckon that some people refuse to stand up because they are not sure of visiting in the nearest future. Even at that, For the sake of sincerity and honesty to God, Please identify as a first timer..
