Topic: God Prefers You (Part 2)

Text: Ephesians 1:3-5
1:3:Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love
1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.*
WISDOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
Do you realize that before you were formed God already knew you were coming to earth? When He chose you it wasn’t based on your performance but His terms. In other words, you are God’s choice before the world began, and He’s not going to change His mind on you.
It is a privilege that the Almighty God would find us worthy to be chosen by Him. This is a privilege that should not be taken for granted. You must have to reciprocate this by doing the will of God. You were not chosen to be idle, but you were chosen to be Holy and without blame before God in love.

Finally;
Apostle Peter puts it this way *(1 Peter 2:9-10) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.*
You need to understand the tenses of these verses. You are a chosen one. Meaning God is not going to choose, you don’t have to pray or fast to be chosen, but the reality is, God already did. On the basis of this, He commands that we show forth His praises, His beauty, His wonder. Hallelujah.
