Text: Isaiah 26:2 Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
WISDOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
God wants to be your all in all. By this, I mean that God wants you to depend on Him absolutely without reservations. Anyone who desires to have or enjoy peace must keep his eyes on God.
What God is saying is that your purpose should be on Him. The word translated Thou would keep is the Hebrew word nâtsar and it means to guard, watch, watch over, keep, to preserve. God can only keep those whose purpose is about Him. While the word translated peace, is another Hebrew word *shâlôm shâlôm*, which means peace of prosperity, completeness.

Finally;
If you want true peace and complete prosperity you must work in the plans and the purposes of God for your life. To live outside God is to experience crisis and troubles. This is what Jesus meant when He said in *John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.* Hallelujah.
In Christ, there is peace, safety, satisfaction, and completeness while outside Christ the opposite becomes the case. When you take a critical look at the world today, what you find is crisis in different aspects, but in Christ, you will find rest because He overcame the world for you.
