Topic: HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST
*Text: (Philippians 2:5-8) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.*
WISDOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
When you became born again you were given a mind that is of Christ. According to *2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.*
However, until you allow your mind to function like that of Christ, you may function negatively. The mind of man is desperately wicked, but you can subject your mind to the word of God until it becomes the mind of Christ. What is the mind of Christ? It is the mind that is subject to God and His will. All Jesus did was to please the Father. Therefore, now that you have the mind of Christ you are expected to act like Him and live like Him.
Jesus never hated anyone but loved them. Jesus didn’t treat people with disdain but with love. You should do the same. Your mind is the gateway to your spirit therefore what you allow into your mind can get a hold of your spirit. The reason why our world is collapsing is because the devil has taken over their mind. No one with the mind of Christ can kill his neighbor for rituals, or plan evil for another man. It is your responsibility to ensure that Christ lives through you. It is a fight you must engage in, because the flesh will try to dominate you but you must insist and stand your ground. Refuse to allow your flesh to rule or dictate for you. Let God’s Spirit guild and possess your mind.
*Prayer* I declare in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, every enemy seeking your life shall stumble and fall, in the name of Jesus’ Christ. Amen.
