*Text: (Colossians 1:13-15) Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:*
WISDOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
To know the word of God for yourself is very vital. This is because knowing the word for yourself helps you to know what Christ has done for you and also to know your right in Christ.
There are many who are victims of the devil because they don’t know what Jesus has accomplished for them. For instance, according to verse 13 of the text above, the word declares that we have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s loved son. What is expected of you is to stand on that word that you are not in the domain of the devil, therefore the devil cannot hold you captive. Hallelujah.
One thing the devil tries to do to a Christian who does not know the word for himself is to oppress them. And that Christians would be oppressed until light comes to such believers then and only will freedom be attained.
WDD TODAY
It is an error to suffer when the price has been paid for you. Every opportunity you have to learn the word, ensure you give it the right attention.
The amount of the word of God that you possess will determine the level of freedom that you will enjoy. This is why Apostle said in *Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.* Let the word be in you in an increased measure. When this happens, no devil can stand it, no disease can stand it, no sickness or infirmity can stand the word, Hallelujah. there are those who joke with the word of God, but they don’t know they are joking with life.
*Prayer* I declare in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, every enemy seeking your life shall stumble and fall, in the name of Jesus’ Christ. Amen.
