WISDOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
The call to Christianity is a call to reign. Our God is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. By implication, we are called to be kings and not slaves.
When Adam was formed, he was given authority over the earth until the devil took that authority from him and man became a slave to the devil instead of a ruler.
However, due to this damage, Jesus came on the scene to get man back from slavery to an even better dimension of kingship.
In the text above, we find some factors that are responsible for this kind of living.
One is abundance of grace. Meaning surplus grace is available, for you to take advantage of. In other words, God had made grace available, but the amount of grace that you want to have is determined by you. The other factor is the gift of righteousness. When grace is received alongside righteousness, you are left with one option, which is to reign in life. If you are still struggling with life, it means either grace or righteousness is missing. You can have these two factors in your life and reign in this life. This is why you must know what Christ has made available for you, so that you can walk in the light of it. Glory to God.
Jesus didn’t come to earth to leave you the way He met you, instead, He has brought you out of the domain of darkness to a place of glory and not a place of shame.
This is who Jesus has made you, therefore, accept it and walk in the light of it.
