Text: *Text: Proverbs 22:1 A GOOD name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.*
WISDOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
One thing you must strive to attain is to have a good name. Because a good name is another type of capital. However, in today’s world, many have prioritized wealth not minding their identity. Do you realize that a good name can open doors for you? Do you also know that your name can grant you access while those who have money may be denied? In the time past, many who are prosperous today are those whose family names gave them access.
What can your name do? If your name is mentioned, what would be the reaction of people? This will tell you the kind of person you are.
Do you know that as a businessman with a good name, you can be supplied goods without you paying a dime till you finish selling, then you can return the money? If there is anything worth protecting is your name. More so, the reason you must maintain a good name is for the sake of your family and friends. Don’t mortgage your name for anything else. Protect it, because it is your capital.
Don’t be among those who don’t care about their name and their tomorrow. When you have a good name you can never be short of favor. There are some very rich people in the society when their names are mentioned people react negatively to it. There is how far your riches can take you, but that your good name will surpass it.
There are those who say words like is it the good name I will eat? It is because they are short-sighted which is why they cannot see beyond their nose. But for you, you have a God-designed future that you must possess. Hallelujah.

*Affirmation* I declare that I will maintain a good name in every situation that I find myself. I won’t trade my good name for temporary things, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
