Topic: FELLOWSHIP IS IMPORTANT
*Text: (1 John 1:6-7) If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.*
WISDOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
It’s alarming how most Christians play down the gathering of God’s people. In certain organizations where a fellowship is established, most believers do not see the need to be part of it. However, there is something they are losing which has a spiritual implication.
In the text above the word says if we walk in the light as Jesus is in the light, we have fellowship with one another. You can’t be in the light and you stay away from the gathering of God’s people. The proof that you are in the light is sharing fellowship with God’s people. More so, when we fellowship with one another, the word declares that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.
This is amazing. Do you realize that just by sharing fellowship the issue of sin is taken care of? This is the reason while in fellowship we don’t confess our sins instead, the blood takes care of that. Glory to God.
Every opportunity you have to share fellowship with God’s people, ensure you take advantage of it. Be involved and be active.
The truth is, when we share fellowship, there is a corporate anointing that is released on us. This is different from the one you enjoy when you are alone. Most times, in such an atmosphere, sicknesses are taken away, burdens lifted, and wisdom is released. There are so many benefits to taking part in the fellowship of God’s people. Therefore, make it a point of call to always be present when the such opportunity avails itself.

*Prayer* Dear Father, I pray that your people will know the importance of fellowship, and to take advantage of it, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
